We have had so much success with the Pre-Christmas challenge in the past that we want to continue the tradition. Last year I had a lady loose 4kg in 4 weeks! The sessions are full of motivation, they keep you accountable and on track during the hard part of the year with all the Christmas parties (booze, food etc) and they will take your fitness to a whole new level. This 4 week challenge is just what you need to keep you healthy and in shape while everyone else struggles with the balance of Christmas parties and exercise. I recently finished the four week “Pre-Xmas Challenge” with Janet from Achieving You. The timing of the challenge is perfect – it sets you to up to go into the Christmas and New Year season feeling strong and healthy.
The challenge involved weekly sessions with Janet on a Monday morning. These sessions included a variety of high intensity cardio and strength exercises, and ended with a talk about nutrition and creating a healthy eating mindset.
Janet also provided personalised advice and assistance to each challenge participant in relation to diet and making better food choices. This involved Janet spending a considerable amount of time reviewing our food diaries regularly through the week, and providing tailored advice to fit into each individual participant’s personal circumstances.
The tailored dietary advice provided to me by Janet has been invaluable. A great deal of Janet’s advice related to me simply tweaking my diet, and making small changes. These small changes however have had a hugely positive impact! Her advice is practical and is predicated upon making sustainable long-term changes for a healthier and cleaner diet.
I have not only lost weight, but have also increased my fitness. Most importantly, rather than staggering through the final weeks of 2016 feeling worn out and making bad food choices, I am energized and have the strategies in place to ensure I enjoy Christmas and the New Year without overindulging.

What’s included: Each session will be 60 minutes in duration. It will include a 45 minute cardio session which will take your fitness to a whole new level and a 15 minute talk with a new topic each week relating to food, how to stay on track during the Christmas period etc. Your food diary will also be checked twice a week to keep you accountable. You will have access to contact Janet at anytime during 4 weeks. This is a fantastic way to check-in with your exercise routine, sleep patterns etc.
